Food Pantry: April set-up days: April 14th and 28th , 7-9am. Distribution: April 15th and 29th, 8-10:30am. God Bless everyone for supporting our mission to help the food insecure in Mesa! The food pantry wants to thank you for all the food that was given during Advent. We would like to continue collecting food. If you could give food monthly it would help our budget go further. We are in need of peanut butter and jelly, cereal, canned vegetables or beans. There will be a box in the narthex to deposit the food items. Thank you for helping us. Thrift Store: Mark Downs Thrift Store is open Friday & Saturdays 9-1, the second & fourth Tuesday of the month during Food Pantry and Sunday mornings before church 8:45-9:45 and after church by request. We accept clean, new & gentle used clothing, household items & furniture during hours of operation. Volunteers are always welcome. Please contact Diane Lewis or Kathy Cheatham if you have any questions. All money raised in the thrift store goes directly back to our church. This is a heartfelt plea for help! I need assistance to continue providing receptions for funerals and memorial services for members of our congregation. We have no way of planning for these events and often they occur on short notice. I am asking for people who could be called upon as these occasions arise and I recognize that most cannot assist at every event. But this ministry will not be able to continue if I don’t get your attention and help. There are two lists in the narthex. One is for set-up, serving and cleanup.
