Together in Faith: Before each person are life and death, and whichever one you choose will be given to you. Sirach 15:17
A steward sometimes has the ability to improve the life of another, through a gift of money, time, encouragement, support and prayer. Let’s grown in our awareness of the power we have to touch the life of someone else.
Liturgical Decorations: The flowers on the Altar are sponsored today by Raymond E Nunez in loving memory of his wife Barbara Anne Nunez: “You were called up by our Lord 6 years ago, February 11, 2011. You are missed every day. May you rest in peace in Heaven till we meet again.”
Bishop's Committee Parishioner Liaison: Starting this week and moving forward there will be an assigned member of the Bishop's Committee to serve as a Parishioner Liaison. We encourage parishioners to seek out this assigned member whenever there is a suggestion, question or concern. The liaisons will bring all comments to the monthly meeting of the Bishop's Committee to be addressed as appropriate. This is one small step the committee is taking to unite our church and improve communications within our family. A schedule of each week's liaison will be visibly posted in the Narthex and the assigned liaison will attend both English services and Lion's Den on Sunday so they are available to receive any input from parishioners. This week’s Parishioner Liaison is Caleb Collins.
“Eat Your Heart Out” Bake Sale: Hosted by ECW on today in Knight Hall between 8:30 and 11 am services. You don’t want to miss this event—great way to have Valentine Goodies on hand for that special day (Tuesday, Feb. 14th!) Lion’s Den on February 12th: ECW will be hosting Lion’s Den today in honor of welcoming new and returning regular and winter visitors/ members. Be sure to stop by for special goodies.
