 Vacation Bible School is coming soon! Vacation Bible School will be held Monday June 1st to Friday June 5th from 9am to 11:30am in the parish hall. The theme is Rainforest Falls - Explore the Nature of God. Kids and volunteers can register to save their spot at: myvbs.org/stmarksmesa. It is a FREE VBS program and will include Wild Bible Adventures, Imagination Station, snacks, Crafts, games and more!
What does a Bishop do? Bishop Reddall shared images from the book that was presented to her as a gift from St. Mark's younger Sunday School class in this week's Bishop's E-Pistle. Our talented youngsters inspired her to share some examples of what a week in the life of a Bishop really looks like! Charity Crafters: The Charity Crafters will meet on Wednesday, May 27th from 1-3 in the fellowship hall. Please consider inviting friends and neighbors who enjoy crafting. We will have fun making dinosaur and summer theme buckets for children `in need in our community. Food Pantry: Set-up days: May 11th and 25th, 7-9am Distribution: May 12th and 26th, 8-10:30am God Bless everyone for supporting our mission to help the food insecure in Mesa! The food pantry thanks you for your support. Thrift Store: The thrift store is every open Tuesday 8 to 11, Friday and Saturday 9 to 1 and Sunday mornings 9 to 9:50 and after church. Cash or card welcome. Thank you for donating and shopping at our church’s thrift store. As we prepare for our summer hours of only being open every Tuesday morning from 8 to 11, we are looking for additional volunteers to help in this time slot. Requirements would be a few hours of training before mid May working with Diane, Donna, and Kathy to learn basic procedures including safety, pricing, display, store set up including opening and closing process. Perks are working with and meeting amazing people. Name Tags: If you want to go where everyone knows your name and do not have a name tag yet, please put your name on the list on the table in the Narthex.
