And Jesus said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fish for people." Immediately they left their nets and followed him. Matthew 4:19-20 Part of being a steward is leaving something behind. Maybe that ‘something’ is time, or money, or convenience, or maybe it’s prejudice or a sense of entitlement. We can’t expect to grow as stewards without leaving something behind. “Come and See” “What are you looking for”? What brings you to St. Mark’s? We are glad you are here! When Jesus turned and saw the two disciples following, he said to them, "What are you looking for?" John 1:38 What a question! Yes, what are we looking for? Hopefully one thing we’re always looking for is the opportunity to be of service to our families, friends and larger community. “Let’s Celebrate This Christmas Together At St. Mark’s” WE ARE BACK! You can see all the wonderful things happening at St. Mark’s and you can’t help but be excited. We are in the middle of our Annual Giving Pledge Campaign. Every year you are asked to prayerfully think about what you can give to support God’s work at St. Mark’s. This is important work we all do, and without your support none of it can happen. Every dollar goes to the ministries and service in our community, the nation and the world. There is so much to be thankful for at St. Mark’s and we want to plan for more amazing things next year. You can pick up a Giving Pledge Card in the back of the church, or you can go online and fill out the information. We need your information as soon as possible so we can make plans for next year. We know times are always uncertain, but without your commitment, we will not be here in the future. It is for our children and theirs that we build this community of God called St. Mark’s. 2023 Annual Meeting: The 2023 Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 5th, during the 10AM service. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:17 Jesus’ baptism inaugurated his mission. We too have been baptized into the mission and ministry of Jesus and we are invited to share his compassion and care with the people of our time. “Let’s Celebrate This Christmas Together At St. Mark’s” WE ARE BACK!
