Noticias Re"Mark"adas (anuncios espanol) Together in Faith: Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” John 6:68-69 “Where else can we go?” asked Peter. Many who heard Jesus speak and saw what he did came to the same conclusion. We are their spiritual descendants… and it is part of our task to pass on the faith to our descendants. This is a difficult task today. The example of how we live our lives may well be the most powerful way of influencing others to seek Jesus and follow after him. Noticias Re"Mark"adas (anuncios espanol) Together in Faith: “This is the bread that came down from heaven.” John 6:58 Jesus asks his listeners to see beyond the obvious, to see not just earthly bread but heavenly as well. So rather than see the stranger, we can see our brother and sister. Rather than see the needy, we can see those with less opportunity than us. Or, rather than not see at all, we can open our eyes and ears to those whom we can assist. Noticias Re"Mark"adas (anuncios espanol) Together in Faith: Jesus told the people, “You are looking for me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life.” John 6:26-27 Jesus invites his followers to determine what is really important in life, and to seek after that. We today have so many distractions, so many opportunities to miss what God is calling us to be and do. Let’s make a renewed effort to seek that which endures for eternal life.
