Together in Faith: Jesus told the people, “You are looking for me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life.” John 6:26-27

Jesus invites his followers to determine what is really important in life, and to seek after that. We today have so many distractions, so many opportunities to miss what God is calling us to be and do. Let’s make a renewed effort to seek that which endures for eternal life.

​Bishop's Committee Parishioner Liaison: Every week there is an assigned member of the Bishop's Committee to serve as a Parishioner Liaison. We encourage parishioners to seek out this assigned member whenever there is a suggestion, question or concern. The liaisons will bring all comments to the monthly meeting of the Bishop's Committee to be addressed as appropriate. This week’s Parishioner Liaison is Teresa Gordon/Fr. Gerardo.

MarkDowns Thrift Store: The Thrift Store will have NEW UNUSED items for sale on Sunday, August 5, in the Lion's Den, during the coffee hour, between 8:45 and 9:45. So come and browse and make your selections. The Thrift Store continues to be opened on Sundays from 8:45-9:45 AM., between the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM services.

Back to School: School will be starting soon! If you would like to help needy families prepare their children for school, there will be a donation box in the Narthex for school supplies. Pencils, paper, pens, markers, etc. will be packed into backpacks and distributed on food distribution days during July and August. Thank you for helping to make the beginning of school a happy time!

Episcopal Night at Chase Field: The Arizona Diamondbacks invite all members of the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona, along with their family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a time of fellowship and cheer on the D-backs as they host the Seattle Mariners on Friday, August 24 at 6:40 pm! $24 - Lower Level Bleachers (section 141) (these seats do have backs). Flyers with more info are available in the Narthex.

Women’s Shelter: Daughters of the King will be accepting donations for the Women’s Shelter. Please place hygiene products in the box provided in the narthex. We would like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, socks, underwear, and other feminine hygiene products.
