“Come and See” “What are you looking for”? What brings you to St. Mark’s? We are glad you are here! We have entered a new year and a new excitement for the future grows each day. Please continue to pray for St. Mark’s and the future of God’s work here. Please invite friends, family and neighbors to events or services, and donate. If you love St. Mark’s, please continue to give. We have so many options that there is no excuse to give generously. You can use check, cash, online direct from your bank account, or PayPal. If you have not filled out a giving pledge, please do so. It helps with our future plans. “What are you looking for”? Jesus is here.

John 1:38-39 When Jesus turned and saw them following, he said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi” (which translated means Teacher), “where are you staying?” He said to them, “Come and see.”

Mark your Calendars: Each Friday during Lent, join us for a Lenten Soup Supper at 5 PM in the parish hall! Friday, March 3 is hosted by St. Mark's Singers.

Sunday School is Back!: St. Mark’s Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9am to 9:45am. Children ages Pre-K to 2nd Grade gather in the Parish Hall and children Grade 3 and up meet in Classroom #2 across the courtyard.

Food Pantry: Distribution for the month of February will be on February 14th and 28th. Our set up day will be Mondays, February 13 and 27 from 8AM-11AM. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated! Come any of these days or all! Join our team and help feed the hungry in our community!

With rising food costs on food we need your help. If you could donate any of the following food items it would help us to stretch our budget. If you are unable to shop monetary donations accepted. Items needed are peanut butter, jelly, canned vegetables, cereal, canned fish or meat, macaroni, spaghetti, rice, canned or dried beans. May God bless you for supporting St. Mark’s Food Pantry!

MarkDowns Thrift Store: Love is in the air at the St Mark's thrift store. Check out our special sales all month to show your love to the favorite people in your life. Open every Friday and Saturday 9:00 to 1:00 and in conjunction with the Food pantry distribution schedule every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 8-noon. Show your love by supporting our thrift store.

Daughters of the King: The "Daughter's of the King" would like your help in supporting a local domestic abuse center. This center places a strong emphasis in encouraging families to look for positive aspects in their lives, despite going through tremendous hardships and struggles. One way to assist them is to provide gratitude journals. We are going to decorate these journals and fill them with positive affirmations. We are asking help in providing any of the following: journals, individually wrapped pens, PA jagged of water color pencils, stickers and sheet protectors. We also will be collecting small travel sized hygiene items. For questions, contact Cyndi Armstrong or Mary Twentyman.

2023 Annual Meeting: The 2023 Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 5th, during the 10AM service. There will only be one service that day!

Pledge Drive: Please turn in your 2023 Pledge to the Church Office as soon as possible. Our  Stewardship/Finance Committee is working hard to finalize our budget. Have faith that God will let you be generous with what He has given you.
