Luke 23:42 Even in his darkest time, as death approached, Jesus remained king. And as king, Jesus assured the criminal that all would be well for him. In our dark times, let's remember that Jesus' promise extends to us too. Food Pantry Thanksgiving Donations: Food Pantry volunteers will be receiving donations for the purchase of gift cards. The $10 gift cards will be given to families to enable them to buy a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. They will be given out during our November 26th food distribution. A donation table will be set up during the Lion's Den coffee hour. Thank you everyone for supporting our mission to help needy families celebrate the holidays! You are invited! St. Mark's Hispanic Ministry will be hosting Our Lady of Guadalupe service on Sunday, December 15 at 10 am followed by Las Posadas in Knight Hall after the service. Instead, he invites us to invest in eternal things, like love, care for another, generosity, mutual support, acceptance. Mark Downs Black Friday Specials: Mark Down’s Thrift Store is holding our first ever Black Friday event on Friday, November 29 from 8am-4pm and again on Saturday November 30th from 8am until noon. For the first time, everything in the store will be priced at 1/2 off and restocking will continue throughout this 2-day event so the inventory will constantly change. Cash only is accepted.
