Together in Faith: Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart. Luke 18:1

“Pray always and don’t lose heart.” Probably Jesus spoke from personal experience, as the gospels tell us that he often turned to prayer in difficult times, times when he was tempted to lose heart. Let’s remember to do the same.

Together in Faith: Then Jesus asked, "Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? Luke 17:17

Only 1 showed gratitude. Before we look askance at the 9 who didn’t, perhaps we should review all the elements of our own lives. Do we thank God for the entirety of what we have, or only for the obvious 10%?
