We listen to his words that we should love one another as he has loved us. Bishop's Committee Parishioner Liaison: Every week there is an assigned member of the Bishop's Committee to serve as a Parishioner Liaison. We encourage parishioners to seek out this assigned member whenever there is a suggestion, question or concern. The liaisons will bring all comments to the monthly meeting of the Bishop's Committee to be addressed as appropriate. This week’s Parishioner Liaison is Charles Vaughn. Women’s Shelter: Daughters of the King will be accepting donations for the Women’s Shelter. Please place hygiene products in the box provided in the narthex. We would like toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, socks, underwear, and other feminine hygiene products. Church Women United: On Friday, May 4th, 2018, St. Mark’s will host CWU for their Least Coin Fellowship. Please add your “Least Coins” in the container in the narthex on the welcome table. Noticias Re"Mark"adas (anuncios espanol) Together in Faith: He said to them, “Why are you frightened, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet; see that it is me. Touch me and see.” Luke 24:38-39 We are the Body of Christ, and hopefully all who encounter us are able to touch Jesus. Easter invites us to be stewards to all those who need the reassurance and support that Jesus offers. Noticias Re"Mark"adas (anuncios espanol) Together in Faith: Although the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” John 20:19 The world can be a frightening place for us. The disciples too had much to fear, but Jesus encourages them, and so us too, to put aside our fear and be at peace within ourselves and with those around us.
