Thank You For A Great Consecration Sunday! Thank you to everyone that attended Consecration Sunday and the Celebration Luncheon Nov. 26th, and for those that filled out an Estimate of Giving Card for your pledged giving to the mission and ministries of St. Mark's. Your gift is spread across so many ministries at St. Mark's, like Children's Ministries, Liturgy, and Outreach as well as keeping a beautiful worship space. We cannot thank you enough for your support. With your gift, St. Mark's will continue to be a vibrant community of faith that Seeks God, Serves Others, and Transforms Lives. If you were unable to be there and did not get a card filled out yet, there is STILL time to get one into the office. The ushers have some at the back of the church and you can fill it out and put it in the offering plate or give to our treasurer Al Rausch. If you are at home and wish to email your estimate, please send an email with the information to: [email protected]. Full announcements and prayer list (pdf) "God Loves a Cheerful Giver" You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2 Corinthians 9:7 Things are really getting exciting here at St. Mark's! Fall and cooler weather are in the air. Our ministries are ramping up awesome projects and events for the season. We are thinking about Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful for our blessings from God. Everything we have comes from God. Without His moving us and prodding us, we would not be who and what we are today. He leads us down the right paths and helps us find those paths when we think we know what is best and stray. How is God calling you to respond to those blessings? How is He calling your to give to His Glory through St. Mark's? We make it easy to give through our website, by mail or through our offertory at worship. Your gifts to God will further bless his ministries here at St. Mark's and in the community. We do this together to praise God! Food Pantry: Many heartfelt thanks to all who donated toward the Thanksgiving gift cards! We served 121 families at the November 14 distribution. Thank you for being so generous! We will only be having one distribution in December, Dec. 12th.
MarkDowns Thrift Store: Check out our 75% off Thanksgiving supplies & décor sale to our parishioners on Sunday. Check out our NEW section for your Christmas shopping. The Thrift store is open Fri. & Sat. 9am-1pm and Sundays 8:30–9:50am. We will be open on Tuesday November 28th at 5pm prior to the East Valley Pops Orchestra Concert. If you would like to join our amazing volunteers in the store, please contact Diane Lewis or Kathy Cheatham.
