Invest In Hope: When some were speaking about the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and gifts dedicated to God, Jesus said, “As for these things that you see, the days will come when not one stone will be left upon another; all will be thrown down.” Luke 21:5-6

Jesus’ words remind us how easy it is to take confidence in things that will not last. Instead, he invites us to invest in eternal things, like love, care for another, generosity, mutual support, acceptance.

​Food Pantry Thanksgiving Donations: Food Pantry volunteers will be receiving donations for the purchase of gift cards. The $10 gift cards will be given to families to enable them to buy a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. They will be given out during our November 26th food distribution. A donation table will be set up during the Lion's Den coffee hour. Thank you everyone for supporting our mission to help needy families celebrate the holidays!

Life Line Screening: St. Mark’s will be hosting Life Line Screening on Saturday, November 23, 8:30 am to 5 pm in Knight Hall. Package 1: Plaque, Vascular Disease and Hearth Rhythm Package—4 tests for only $139; Package 2: add Osteoporosis Screening for only $10 more -5 tests for only $149 (A $181 savings!) Pre-registration is required— call 1-888-653-6450 which also earns you and additional $10 discount. For more information regarding the specific tests, please see flyers in the narthex.
