Together in Faith: “Then he said to his slaves, ‘The wedding is ready, but those invited were not worthy. Go therefore into the main streets, and invite everyone you find to the wedding banquet.’” Matthew 22:8-9

This would certainly be an odd wedding reception, filled with strangers who were probably happy just to get something to eat. So the kingdom Jesus envisions welcomes people we would never consider… something to think about!

Bishop's Committee Parishioner Liaison: Every week there will be an assigned member of the Bishop's Committee to serve as a Parishioner Liaison. We encourage parishioners to seek out this assigned member whenever there is a suggestion, question or concern. The liaisons will bring all comments to the monthly meeting of the Bishop's Committee to be addressed as appropriate. This week’s Parishioner Liaison is Anali Perry

Honoring Veterans: We would like to ask for pictures of all active military and all veterans associated with St. Mark’s to update our bulletin board in the courtyard as well as creating an honorarium for Veteran’s Day, 2017. Thanksgiving Donations: It's almost time for Turkey again! If you would like to donate toward the purchase of gift cards for Turkeys, Food Pantry volunteers will be accepting donations during coffee time. The gift cards will be given to those in need during food distribution on November 14th.

Project for the homeless: WE NEED LOTS AND LOTS OF PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS PLEASE! (Stores refuse to donate them). Members of our Cursillo group are crocheting mats for the homeless, using plastic shopping bags. We need bags and will have a box for that purpose in the Narthex. Anyone interested in assisting the group in the making of the mats may contact Monica Larsen at 480-621-8158 or [email protected].

Junior Warden Schedule: Our Junior Warden, Bob Cheatham, will be keeping regularly scheduled hours at the office: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 8-10 am performing various maintenance duties; also every Friday from 7 am-11 am performing beautification, and property maintenance.
