Today's Readings: Jeremiah 4:11-12, 22-28; Psalm 14; 1 Timothy 1:12-17; Luke 15:1-10 Noticias Re"Mark"ados (anuncios en español) Together in Faith: Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming near to listen to Jesus. The Pharisees and the scribes were grumbling and saying, "This fellow welcomes sinners and eats with them." Luke 15:1-2 Jesus’s habit of hanging around undesirables seems to have been a continual source of angst for all those looking for a reason not to like him. Actually it’s usually easy to spot what’s wrong with someone else…maybe that’s the reason Jesus asks why we see the speck of sawdust in another’s eye but pay no attention to the plank in our own eye. Bishop’s Visit: Our new Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Jennifer A. Reddall, will be visiting St. Mark’s on Sunday, September 29. We will have ONE bilingual service at 10 am with a potluck to follow in Knight Hall. As customary, the Bishop will be conducting Confirmations, Receptions and Reaffirmations of Baptismal Vows. If you are interested in becoming confirmed, received or reaffirming your baptismal vows in the Episcopal Church, please contact Fr. Gerardo. Upcoming Ministry Meetings:
