Together in Faith: Jesus said to the apostle Thomas, "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe." John 20:30

Writing about seventy years after the resurrection, the evangelist John surely passed on these words of Jesus to encourage his congregation, almost none of whom would have seen Jesus. We’re in the same category. Blessed are we who not only believe, but actively practice the teachings of Jesus.

Bishop's Committee Parishioner Liaison: Every week there will be an assigned member of the Bishop's Committee to serve as a Parishioner Liaison. We encourage parishioners to seek out this assigned member whenever there is a suggestion, question or concern. The liaisons will bring all comments to the monthly meeting of the Bishop's Committee to be addressed as appropriate. This week’s Parishioner Liaison is Judy Hossack.

Literacy Day: St. Mark’s will be hosting its second literacy day on Saturday, April 29th from 9:00-11:30. All Edison first-graders and their families will be invited to attend this event as well as the children from St. Mark’s. The morning will be packed with storytelling, crafts, free books, food and more. We want to keep kids reading over the summer and to support our mission of outreach to our neighbors. Junior Warden Schedule: Our Junior Warden, Bob Cheatham, will be keeping regularly scheduled hours at the office: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 8-10 am performing various maintenance duties; also every Friday from 7 am-11 am performing beautification, and property maintenance.
