​MarkDowns Thrift Store: Mark Downs Thrift Store will be open this weekend Friday and Saturday 9am - 1pm, and Sunday between services. This week everything in the store, except new items, will be 50% OFF. This includes furniture and jewelry. We have lots of Mother’s Day gifts. Also this week, DVD’s 4/$1, CD’s and Cassettes 10/$1. The Thrift Store will close for the summer June 8. In order to clear the breezeway north of the store, we cannot accept donations of large furniture for now. Thank you! 

Concert: This afternoon, May 5 at 3:00 pm • Duet or Duel: Battle of the Ages. You are invited to hear Dr. Alisson Unglaub and Dr. Kristin Holton Prouty as they share a program of diverse music for violin, piano and organ. Through composers as well-known as Mozart and Sibelius to not-so-familiar works by Vitali and Nobre, Alisson and Kristin will be exploring the dynamic relationship between instruments in that age-old question of whether these works are for solo and accompaniment or if the parts are equal. Come listen and decide for yourself! Entrance is free, and donations are always appreciated. Reception to follow. Victory Lutheran Church, 5946 E University Dr, Mesa. 480 830 -5024.
