Together in Faith: Now large crowds were traveling with him… Luke 14:25

From the various gospel accounts, it seems that during Jesus’ preaching ministry his popularity waxed and waned… here, obviously a lot of people wanted to listen to him. How like us, because sometimes we are more interested in following his teachings than at other times. To help us stay focused on Jesus, perhaps we could commit to spending just a few minutes in prayer each day.

Liturgical Decorations: The flowers on the Altar are sponsored today by Don Henney, Sr. in loving memory of his late wife, Boni’s 74th birthday.
