Together in Faith: “Hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.” Romans 5:5

Hope is fundamental to our Christian lives. As St. Paul says, the Spirit fills us with hope because God’s love has been poured into us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. In good times and in bad, let us live as people of hope.

Liturgical Decorations: The flowers on the Altar are sponsored today by Jan Matthews Bruno in loving memory of Emily Matthews Thomson, a long time St. Mark’s parishioner who passed away on May 7, 2016.

Cursillo Weekend: The next Three-Day Cursillo Weekend, #117, is scheduled for July 14th to 17th at Chapel Rock Conference Center in Prescott. Father’s Day: There will be one English service on Father’s Day at 10 am and a Spanish service at 12 pm. Following the English service, ECW will be hosting a casual upgraded Lion’s Den for all the men of our church. Can anyone say bacon? Join us at Knight Hall after the 10 am service.

MarkDowns Thrift Store: Starting May 5th, the thrift store’s summer hours will be: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 9 am—12 pm. Anyone willing to volunteer will be welcome.
